Travis Kelce thought his life was pretty good after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl last season. But his personal life seems even better these days thanks to his relationship with superstar Taylor Swift.

“I’m rolling, man,” Kelce said Friday as the Chiefs prepared for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, which kicks off at 3:25 p.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. “We’ve won three in a row and we’re trying to get to four in a row. And as all the attention comes, it feels like I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl, and right now even more on top of the world. So, it’s fun, man.”

Kelce, who is pretty laid back at times and has an easygoing demeanor, is taking all the extra attention in stride. That includes dealing with the paparazzi.

“We’re learning with the paparazzi just taking photos from all over the place,” Kelce said. “But at the same time, it comes with it. You got a lot of people that care about Taylor and for good reason. So just got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.”

Swift was in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs played the Bears in Week 3. She also watched Kelce again last Sunday night when the Chiefs traveled to play the Jets.

Kelce, however, said the NFL might be overdoing some of the attention brought on by his relationship with Swift. He also said that he is still focused on football.

“And at the end of the day, I’ve always been pretty good about compartmentalizing and being able to stay focused in this building,” Kelce said. “So I’ll just keep rolling with that.

“This is one place that I can get away and just be locked in and focused and always check myself and my ego at the door and make sure that I come in with a clear mind.”

Kelce has 17 catches for 155 yards and two touchdowns this season, though he missed the season opener against Detroit with a hyperextended knee. And Kelce, who turned 34 on Thursday, isn’t planning on slowing down anytime soon.

“I’m very fortunate to get to 34, man,” he said. “And to get to be able to do what I love. I got a lot of shoutouts from family, friends. A lot of people reaching out. Chiefs Kingdom always shows love and it’s an appreciating day.”
